About Itachi

Itachi was born into a clan that was already drifting away from the village it helped build. He saw the war coming before anyone said it out loud, and he understood that both sides would lose.

So he chose. He erased his own clan, took the title of traitor, and left a single survivor behind — his brother. Then he spent the rest of his short life shaping Sasuke into someone strong enough to kill him.

He died standing, smiling, with his fingers on his brother's forehead. Not because he won, but because the peace he bought was finally paid for in full.
